Central Medical College & Hospital (Pvt.) Ltd. has been established, so that the young students will learn Medical science to:
1)Acquire knowledge & skill to solve common heath problems, handle emergency medicine & casualties and manage public health medicine in general practice with emphasis on physical, psychological and environmental & moral factors involving the patient himself and his community.

2)Improve the system of medical education and healthcare delivery with the present day concept of community oriented medical education and training which will have relevance to the need of the country. It is intended to bridge the gap between the need and resource for the development of health education, maternal and child welfare and others in its health programs.
3)Be able to work with others in a team for community development.
4)Agree to pursue further training and education in order to acquire new skills and to keep abreast the new developments in medicine.

Course and Examination Information

The Course & University Examination
The University conducts three professional examinations for the MBBS course. There will be two professional examinations in each year:

At  the end of 31/2 year

Microbiology
Pharmacology & Therapeutics'
Forensic Medicine & Toxicology
Community Medicine   

Final  professional MBBS

At  the end of 5 year      
Medicine
Surgery
Gynecology  and Obstetrics. 

Note:

1. Pathology includes General pathology, Systemic Pathology, Hematology and Chemical pathology.
2. Microbiology includes Bacteriology, Immunology, Virology, Parasitology, Mycology and Clinical Pathology.
3. Medicine includes Internal Medicine, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Dermatology, Venereal Diseases and physical Medicine.
4. Surgery includes general and regional surgery, Orthopaedics and Traumatology, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, Anesthesiology, Radiology, Radiotherapy, Blood Transfusion and Dentistry.

TIMING OF THE EXAMINATIONS

Examinations are held two times a year in i.e January and July. Provided the following prerequisites for appearing at the University Examination are full filled.
First Professional MBBS Examination

A candidate must have:

a. Completed a 11/2 year course in the subjects of the examination in one of the affiliated Medical College
of the University.
b. Present in 75% or more of the allotted classes in the subjects of the examination.
c. Obtained pass marks (minimum 60% of the total) in the card examinations in  the subjects of the
examination.
d. Certificate of good conduct from the departments concerned.
e. Paid University fees.
f. Paid all College dues
Second Professional MBBS Examination

a. Passed 1st professional MBBS Examination in all Subjects.
b. Completed allotted hours of the studies in the subjects of the examination in an affiliated Medical College of the University.
c. Present in 75% or more of the allotted classes in the subjects of the examination.
d. Obtained the pass mark (minimum 60% of the total) in the card examinations of the subjects of examination and assessment examination before sent up.
e. Paid University Fees
f. Paid all College dues.

Final Professional MBBS Examination
a. Passed 1st and 2nd professional MBBS Examination in all Subjects.
b. Completed allotted hours of the studies in the subjects of the examination in an affiliated Medical College of the University.
c. Present in 75% or more of the allotted classes in the subjects of the examination.
d. Obtained the pass mark (minimum 60% of the total) in the card examinations of the subjects of examination and assessment examination before sent up.
e. Paid University Fees.
f. Paid all College dues.

Grading at the examinations
Pass Marks Minimum 60% Marks in oral. 60% Mark in practical 60% mark in clinical and 60% mark in written to be secured in the subject of the examination. Honours Marks 75% or more of the total in the subject of the examination.
Discipline at the examinations
Strict discipline is to be maintained. Indecent gesture, behavior, copying at the examinations and even talking to other candidates at the examinations are liable to disciplinary action under the University Regulations.
Positions at the examination
Merit positions up to 10th position are declared at the examination.
